Privacy Policy

This policy explains what CreatorIntent collects and how we access, use, store, share, protect, and delete personal information—including information received from Google and YouTube APIs.

Effective: September 7, 2026

The short version

CreatorIntent uses your account information to run your workspace. If you explicitly connect YouTube, we use read-only channel and analytics data to create the private analysis you request. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or gain permission to change anything on your YouTube channel. You can disconnect and delete the saved connection data at any time.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you sign in with Google, CreatorIntent requests the standard OpenID, email, and profile permissions. Google may make basic profile information available to us. We use and store your email address, first name, and last name to create and identify your CreatorIntent account and to provide the service.

Content and account activity

We process information you submit or create in CreatorIntent, such as selected categories, ideas, research inputs, saved video packages, support communications, and creator photos or channel logos you choose to upload. We also keep service and subscription records, such as your plan, entitlement, usage, and billing status. Payment-card details are collected and processed by our payment provider rather than by CreatorIntent.

Technical information

We and our infrastructure providers may process basic technical information needed to operate and secure the service, including IP address, browser or device type, request timestamps, error information, and security logs. CreatorIntent also uses browser storage for authentication credentials, your basic account profile, workflow history, and interface preferences.

2. Google and YouTube user data

Read-only access

CreatorIntent cannot upload, edit, or delete your YouTube videos, and we never receive your Google password.

Permissions requested

Connecting a YouTube channel is optional and separate from signing in. If you choose to connect, CreatorIntent requests only these read-only OAuth scopes:

  • youtube.readonly—to view your YouTube account and channel data.
  • yt-analytics.readonly—to view YouTube Analytics reports for your channel and videos.

Data accessed and stored

With your authorization, we access and may store:

  • Channel information, including channel ID, title, thumbnail, uploads playlist, subscriber count, video count, and total channel views.
  • Recent-video information, including video ID, title, thumbnail, publication date, duration, tags, status, and engagement statistics.
  • Channel and video analytics, including views, estimated watch time, average view duration, average percentage viewed, likes, comments, shares, and subscribers gained or lost for the analyzed period.
  • Analysis results generated for you, including summaries, performance comparisons, content gaps, and recommendations.
  • The permissions you granted and an encrypted Google OAuth refresh token used to retrieve current data while your channel remains connected. Short-lived access tokens are used to make authorized API requests.

Google API Limited Use

CreatorIntent's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide or improve user-facing CreatorIntent features that you request. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, use it to determine creditworthiness, or use it to train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models.

3. How we use information

CreatorIntent uses the information described above to:

  • Create, authenticate, maintain, and support your account.
  • Retrieve and display the YouTube channel information and analytics you authorize.
  • Compare recent video performance and generate channel summaries, content-gap explanations, and practical recommendations for your channel.
  • Generate the research, metadata, scripts, and thumbnail concepts you request and save your work.
  • Manage subscriptions, usage limits, transactions, and customer support.
  • Maintain service reliability, prevent abuse, troubleshoot, and improve security.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

AI-assisted recommendations

To generate the channel coaching you request, limited summary metrics and detected performance gaps may be processed on our behalf by our text-generation providers, currently DeepSeek and Groq. We do not send them your Google password or OAuth token. This processing is limited to producing the user-facing analysis you requested; we do not permit Google user data to be used to train generalized or non-personalized AI models.

4. How we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We disclose information only:

  • To Google and YouTube when necessary to authenticate you, obtain your authorization, retrieve the data you requested, or revoke access.
  • To service providers acting for us where needed to operate CreatorIntent, such as hosting and database infrastructure, DeepSeek and Groq for text generation, Lemon Squeezy for subscription billing, and Cloudinary and OpenAI for user-requested image storage and generation. OAuth tokens are not shared with AI, image, or payment providers.
  • When reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law or legal process, or protect CreatorIntent's rights and security.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law and the commitments in this policy.
  • When you direct us to share information or otherwise provide consent.

Providers receive only the information reasonably necessary for their assigned function and must process it for the services they provide to us. We do not transfer Google user data to advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers.

5. How we protect information

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. These safeguards include HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls, restricted production credentials, and encryption of stored Google OAuth refresh tokens. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and users should also protect access to their devices and Google accounts.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep account information and user-created content while your CreatorIntent account remains active or as needed to provide the service. We keep connected YouTube data only while needed to provide channel analysis and while the channel remains connected. Cached analysis data is refreshed or replaced when you request a new analysis. We may retain limited records longer when required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, financial recordkeeping, or law.

Disconnect your YouTube channel

Use Channel Analysis → Disconnect inside CreatorIntent at any time. Disconnecting revokes the saved Google authorization where available and immediately deletes the saved OAuth credential, connected-channel record, and channel-analysis data from CreatorIntent. It does not delete or change anything stored by YouTube.

Delete your account or request deletion

You may ask us to delete your CreatorIntent account and associated personal information by emailing us from the address connected to your account. Requests to delete stored YouTube user data are completed as soon as possible and within seven calendar days. We may first verify your identity and may retain records that the law requires us to keep.

Revoke access through Google

You can also revoke CreatorIntent's access in your Google Account security settings. Revoking access prevents new API retrievals, but it does not delete information already stored by CreatorIntent; use the in-app Disconnect control or contact us to request deletion.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to the processing of, or delete personal information. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. To exercise a right, contact us using the address below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Connecting YouTube is optional. You can use CreatorIntent's non-channel features without authorizing access to private YouTube Analytics data.

8. Other privacy terms

Children

CreatorIntent is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.

International processing

CreatorIntent and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

YouTube terms

CreatorIntent uses YouTube API Services. By connecting YouTube, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's own privacy practices are governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as CreatorIntent or applicable requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when a change is material. If we materially change how we use Google user data, we will provide notice and obtain consent where required before applying the new use.
